Book of Dreams aka the 2nd Graphic/Fiction Awards sponsored by Neil Gaiman & Fully Booked happened yesterday afternoon, rain or rain. My Arn was a judge for this year's (and last year's) competition, COMICS category, along with Leinil Yu and Jaime Daez, and so had the privilege of being a VIP at the ceremonies *plus* had an invite for a dinner with the Dream King himself. I presumed that the dinner was exclusively for the judges, winners and event organizers so our good friend Sam was prepared to "babysit" me (thanks Sam!) while Arn attended the proceedings. But then Ramon, Erwin and Quark insisted that I had to be there as well since I'm, well, the wife of one of the judges so I let myself be dragged (NOT kicking and screaming, take note) into the dining hall. I mean who in their right mind would have refused an opportunity like that, diba? There are loads more photos at Azrael's merry site.
